It is immediate, economical, and hyper targeted to your campus population!!
Who can use it?
Every school’s campus programming organization can use it. Your students Opt-In by texting your keyword to the shortcode 71441. You include “TEXT COLLEGE to 71441″ in all your marketing for events, newspaper ad’s, emails, posters, etc. It will take a little while to build up your list, but once you have students signed up, they are there until they Opt out, which should be rarely, as you are giving them timely relevant information about campus events.
What are common use examples?
- Offer seat upgrades (hand out “TEXT EVENTS to 71441 for a pair of front row tickets for tonight’s show” at the door) for the big Spring Concert…
- Maybe the first 20 people at an event to text get free pizza, or cupcakes or something else…
